Emergency Action Plans & Fire Prevention Plans

The United States Department of Labor Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) requires ALL employers to have an Emergency Action Plan (29 CFR 1910.38) (Title 8 Section 3220) and Fire Prevention Plan (29 CFR 1910.39) (Title 8 Section 3221) with specific regulations. Employers must review the plans with each employee and designate and train employees to assist in a safe and orderly evacuation of other employees.
